As conversations around layoffs and career stability continue, we asked our network what they are prioritizing to strengthen their professional resilience. Networking led the results at 52%, reinforcing that building strong professional relationships remains a top strategy for creating new opportunities.
Updating resumes and online presence followed at 21%, while personal coaching received 14% of votes. Pursuing additional education accounted for 10%, and “Other” came in at 3%, with respondents citing reading or listening to more career development resources.
Notably, no respondents selected professional development or industry organizations–despite their ability to provide many of the resources people are actively seeking. This is a missed opportunity. The DLE exists to fill that gap, offering connections, guidance, and career-building resources designed to strengthen long-term resilience. Now is the time to engage with the right community–and soar in your career.
