The Human Side of AI Can’t Be Ignored

More than a year ago, Dulye & Co. President Linda Dulye introduced her Blended Workplace strategy with a clear message: the future of work depends on successfully connecting people and technology.

That message continues to gain momentum as organizations confront the realities of AI transformation.

Forbes contributor Brian Solis, co-author of a new book on AI-forward companies, recently emphasized the importance of leaders intentionally redesigning “how humans and AI agents collaborate.”

His June 30 article examined the critical need for companies to avoid focusing solely on technology while underestimating the value of human expertise.

“AI itself is not a strategy,” writes Solis. “The mistake many executives are making is believing…it can replace the human judgment, context, empathy and hard-earned expertise.”

His insights align with Dulye’s July 2025 challenge that business leaders must balance AI investments with human expertise, involvement and oversight.

As Dulye notes, “AI is essential for business success. So is human interaction.

The most successful organizations won’t be those that simply automate faster. They will be those that create a Blended Workplace where people and technology work together to deliver measurable results.”
