Dan Clemens brings to Dulye & Co. impressive experience leading engagement programs on the front-line and C-suites of Fortune 500 companies.   

An expert facilitator of Dulye & Co.’s highly benchmarked engagement practices, Dan has introduced and implemented cross-functional, Employee Action Teams in High Tech, Manufacturing, Service and Health Care industries. Through Dan’s guidance, Employee Action Teams at Tyco Healthcare, Bobcat, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and DRS Technologies achieved significant improvements in productivity, quality, financial and operational performance.

Dan is equally versed in developing leadership communications and engagement strategies, using social media as well as traditional communication channels to build robust 2-way, dialogue practices that can be tracked and measured. He’s fluent in process improvement methodology and how to use communication to support Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across organizations.  He’s also a dynamic trainer and effective coach to executives and senior managers.

Prior to joining Dulye & Co., Dan was Strategic Communications Manager for US West, a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, where he led the internal communications efforts in the US West - Qwest Communications merger.  While keeping employees informed about merger progress, he created opportunities for employees to channel feedback, concerns and questions to senior leadership.   He also organized and managed the Chairman’s leadership conference – an bi-annual executive summit for goal setting and performance discussion.  

Dan also developed internal communications programs and conducted media relations for First Data Corporation, Western Union and Columbia/HCA. He started his professional career in sales and subsequently spent several years writing and editing trade magazines in the telecommunications industry. 

Dan has a Master of Humanities degree from the University of Colorado at Denver. His undergraduate work is in Speech Communication at Colorado State University.  A youth and high school coach, Dan is the author of A Perfect Season:  A Coach’s Journey to Learning, Competing, and having Fun in Youth Baseball, and speaks around the nation on youth sports issues.  Dan lives in Castle Rock, Colorado with his wife, Bev, and their two children.
