Keep Your Key Messages Fresh

freshness leaf.jpgIf you've ever spent time preparing talking points and slides for a major announcement, chances are you've felt the disappointment when the words and spirit fade away -- sometimes within hours. It doesn't have to be that way. Your messages can resonate over the long term by supporting your managers with comprehensive messaging packets -- bullet points with enterprise message detail, tools for localizing those messages, discussion starters and FAQs. But that's just a start. Keep feeding support materials for team leaders over the course of the program, change process or activity. The same applies to Town Hall meetings or executive road shows. If your managers don't have the information they need, they can't keep the messages flowing. The solution requires a bit more work on your behalf, but the impact can be tremendous.
